Wendy Bailey
‘My art life began as a scenic artist in the theatre. I was used to painting fast and big! The huge canvases were 15 foot high by 6ft wide. Its no wonder I find it hard to adapt my work to smaller canvasses of 30 x 40 cms!’
Wendy’s Art works are distinguished by her love of colour, composition and drama to be found in the paintings, monoprints and charcoal drawings she produces. Wendy’s work is influenced by a joy in the wild and wet East Anglian coastland and landscape. Wendy is an artist who enjoys exploring art materials and techniques of printmaking, watercolour, acrylic, oils, drawing, digital art, pastel, charcoal.
Drawing is at the heart of all my art.
