My present work harks back to my previous profession of Art Therapist in Mental Health. Following a personal tragedy, I am finding a healing pathway through my art work. My acrylic paintings have emerged as a result of hours of intuitive applications of layer upon layer of information in pigment, glaze and mixed media, some of which in the process of “archaeological” digging, re-emerges to the surface as hidden or suggested history.
