Sally Howard
I am an artist and designer working in the Essex area. I studied Art Foundation following on to specialise in Theatre Design and Production at Croydon College, London.
My career has seen me working as a professional artist in theatre and other creative industries as a Scenic Artist, Costumier, Sculptor, Prop Maker and as a Theatre Designer, designing sets and costumes for many theatre companies across the UK as well as the Mercury Theatre, Colchester.
I taught Theatre Design, Scenic Art and Prop Making at Colchester Institute and Ipswich College and have been running Life Drawing classes at Prested Hall, Feering, Colchester.
From my home studio in Fingringhoe, I work in a wide range of practices such as Lino Printing, Stained Glass, Mosaic, Textiles, Painting and Drawing.
I love working and manipulating materials across all arts and crafts and have been producing art for as long as I can remember.
