Lynette Singers
As a Pastel artist the immediacy of the medium allows me to work capturing the magic of light, shadows, colour and form.
My painting is a cross between realism and Impressionism and includes still life, figures, interiors and landscape.
From the age of 15, I studied life drawing in New Zealand for 3 years using charcoal and pencil and then continued my study for a further 6 years in London U.K.
From there I developed my fascination with pastels.
My work has been collected and admired by many people worldwide including France, Canada, Japan, Thailand, Australia and my birthplace New Zealand.
I have recently been accepted as a member of the The National Society of Painters Sculptors and Printmakers.
