Drawing has always been a need and a passion and I usually begin my paintings with a careful drawing.

Originally, I concentrated on traditional oil painting, occasionally working with tempera. However, over the years, thanks to some inspirational tutors, I have enjoyed experimenting with a wide range of mediums, more recently acrylic ink. However, oil paint is still my favourite.  

My preferred subjects are life drawing/painting and still life. By way of another challenge, I am now hoping to concentrate on landscapes.
