Harry Cotterill
Harry Cotterill’s impressive, one-of-a-kind ship drawings have become known around the world. He first started drawing ships whilst he was still at school.
In 2015, he was awarded grant funding from the Prince’s Trust and Essex County Council, helping him to set up his own business. Cruise Cotterill has become a popular cruise and travel blog, which also showcases Harry’s amazing ability to produce large-scale drawings of cruise ships and other ocean-going craft.
After many years of drawing, his artwork has now been presented aboard more than 100 ships! Harry produces his drawings using ordinary HB pencils, colouring pencils, and fine liner pens.
Unsurprisingly, Harry has a great passion for travel, especially cruises. He embarked on his first cruise when he was 16 years old and has since been on over 30 cruises, including trips to the Norwegian Fjords. In 2018, Cruise Cotterill was shortlisted for 'Favourite Cruise Blogger' in the World of Cruising's Cruise Awards in the UK.
Alongside his artistic pursuits, Harry is a full-time student at Durham University, where he is studying for a degree in physics. He also enjoys cycling, gig rowing and taking photos and selfies wherever he goes!
