Dominic Butler

I am a local artist with a real passion for capturing atmosphere and experiences in watercolours. I exploit the quirks of this naturalistic medium to render light-driven compositions. Taking inspiration from contemporary styles, past masters and the world around me, my style is loose, fresh and energetic.

Primarily focusing on figurative and of places I visit, I mix pigments and engineers my paints at a binder level to embolden my evolving approaches.
