Borders: Artists Reflections on a River Landscape

This book arose out of two ‘Borders’ exhibitions run in 2020 and 2022 by two Art Societies on either side of the East Anglian Stour Valley. The book names all 161 artists who participated, with full-page images of the work of 26 artists. There is also a selection of images from the first ‘Borders’ exhibition at Firstsite in 2020.

There is an introduction, short histories of the two art societies, poems from art critic Andrew Lambirth and poet Kevin Crossley-Holland, recipes from either side of the border, and reflections from some of the artists.
