David Trenow
David Trenow is an artist, sculptor, folklorist and singer. He is the former Head of Art at Colchester Royal Grammar School. He lives in Colchester and regularly exhibits his work.
David’s sculptures have their origin in the natural forms of trees and their relationship to each other. So, works like Conversation reflect the way trees gather in groups as a way of supporting each other; others like Tall Blue Figure are a synthesis of the slender nature of trees and the human form.
