Clive Wakeford is an artist with a broad range of artistic talents, from environmental artworks to installations.

Wakeford’s underlying belief is that the arts are a critical foundation to the wellbeing of both the individual and society as a whole. His current work focuses around his interest in trees.

Art in a Frame Challenge

Clive has installed a number of picture frames in key locations in the nature reserve which will highlight the views and reflect the constant changes in the environment. The concept is to provide visitors with focal points within a trail that will inspire them to consider the ever changing living “canvases” captured within the frames. This will also demonstrate the challenge presented to an artist who translates an ever changing image onto a canvas or drawing, whether this is abstract or representational. Visitors will also be inspired to challenge the chosen landscapes against their own choices within the nature reserve.
